Ok so to find the answer of a percent of a number question - set it up as a proportion.

First remember the percent ALWAYS goes over 100- 35% of 50=?

• First put the 35/100

• put the 50 at the bottom - because it is "OF"

• so 35 x 50=?

• then ? divided by 100
