Combining sentences for clarity
Vocab to recognize: to make more clear, clarify, improve clarity
If given a choice of word improvement, go with the MORE SIMPLE choice.
Keep things *parallel*
--look at the verbs: are they all the same tense?
--look at the verbs: do they all have the same *style*/endings
--look at the words "between the commas:" do they need to have the same structure?
If you can change an unclear pronoun to a correct noun, that's usually a GOOD choice.
