Learning Goals:

• I can graph functions given a limited domain.

• I can graph functions given a domain of all real numbers.

Example 1A:

Graph each function for the given domain.

-x+2y=6; Domain: {-4, -2, 0, 2}

Example 1B:

Graph each function for the given domain.

 $f\left(x\right)=\left|x\right|$     D: {-2, -1, 0, 1, 2}

Example 2A:

Graph the function:

2x + 1 = y

Example 2B:

Graph the function:
 $y=x^2$  

Example 3:

Graph the function using desmos:
 $y=\frac{1}{3}x+2$  

Then find the value of f(x) when 

x = 6.

Example 3:

The function y = 2.5x describes how many millimeters sea level y rises in x years.  Graph the function.  Then use the graph to estimate how many millimeters seal level will rise in 2.5 years.
