Cash flow
is the net amount of cash and cash-equivalents moving into and out of a business. Usually it arise from one of three business activities.

Positive and negative cash flows
- A positive cash flow indicates an increase in the company's liquid assets, allowing him to pay off debts, reinvest in his business, return money to shareholders, pay expenses and provide protection against future financial expenses.
- A negative cash flow indicates a decrease in the company's liquid assets.

What Are Business Activities?
Business activities include any activity a business engages in for the primary purpose of making a profit. This is a general term that encompasses all the economic activities carried out by a company during the course of business. Business activities, including operating, investing and financing activities, are ongoing and focused on creating value for shareholders.

Core activity
Company’s core business activities, such as manufacturing, distributing, marketing and selling a product or service or formation of portfolio investment.

Operating activity
This includes the sale of foreign exchange, operating leases of assets, foreign exchange gains, penalties received, recoveries of previously written off assets, grants received and other transactions.

Investing activity
This can be the purchase and sale of fixed assets, as well as financial investments that are not cash equivalents.

Financing activity
This includes cash flows from lenders, usually consisting of new loans issued to the company; bond issues and investor cash flows come from newly issued shares or partner contributions.

Cash flows in Ukraine
The volume of cash flows in Ukraine increased by USD 2476 mln.This is influenced by many factors, for example, all types of taxes paid in Ukraine, rent and various incomes.
