A myth is a traditional, ancient story that is fictional. Myths were often written to explain natural phenomena and quite often involved gods and fantasy creatures.A legend is a story which takes place within human history.

How is a myth different from a legend.
Myths- are stories that are passed down about how or why something came to be. Legends- are designed to teach a lesson about a real person in History, with a few facts dramatically changed.
