To communicate, we have to learn the language. All music is written on a staff.

Review: Every line and space corresponds to a white note on the keyboard.

The music alphabet only goes from A-G, then repeats as many times as it is needed.

Other names for the Clefs

• Treble Clef is also called the "G clef" because it curls around G.

• Bass clef is also called the "F clef" because the line between the two dots is F.

• Can count up or remember line and space order.

• Lines: E, G, B, D, F

• Spaces: F, A, C, E

• You can either count up and down from the F or remember the order of the lines and spaces
