You can answer with the expression "hace" either good "buen tiempo" or bad "mal tiempo" weather.

Most weather expression use the verb Hacer to talk about the weather.

In Spanish the weather “does” or "has" an action rather than in English where we use "it is"

We conjugate Hacer (that is we change it-similar to how we change the verb To be in English): hace

or

the weather is fine.

It is bad weather

the weather is bad
