LET'S GO!
2
Finding the point of view is all about perspective - a particular attitude toward or way of regarding something; a point of view.
3
First Person
Is all about ME! Also, I, us, we, my etc. anything where the main character is telling the story.
4
2nd Person
The narrator is talking to......YOU! Yes, you or yours! This is terrible for literature because who is "you" referring to?
5
3rd Person Objective
The narrator is talking about other people like he, she, them, John, Jane, they, and basically anyone that is not themselves.
We don't know what anyone is thinking or feeling!
6
3rd Person Limited
The narrator is still talking about other people but NOW....we know the thoughts and/or feelings of ONE character.
7
3rd Person Omniscient (AHHM-NISH-ENT)
We have an ALL KNOWING VIEW of the story. Meaning....we know the thought and/or feelings of more than ONE character.

Julia had never been camping before. Trying to set up the tent with her cousins that had done it a million times before made her feel silly. She couldn’t help but wonder how she had gotten herself into these woods in the middle of nowhere in the first place.

Most Improved Player by Robert Grisly
"Do you want to take the shot, Vince?" The coach asked me. I looked into his eyes. They were ice-cold blue. His face did not betray his feelings, but I knew that he meant it. "I do, Coach. I can make the shot." I replied. He nodded and then put his hand on top of my head. "I don't know how long any of us will live, but we will all remember what happens next for as long as we do." He then slapped me on the back. The referee blew the whistle and it was time to find out just how I would be remembered.

"Wow, look at his costume," said Annie. "He's dressed up like an electric jellyfish." She observed the flashing lights with genuine admiration. Adrianna looked at the costume and scoffed. Secretly, she envied the detail and craftsmanship that went into the jellyfish costume, but she would never let on to Annie. “What kind of loser goes walking around like a Christmas tree?” Adrianna said. Annie did not agree, but did not want to be disagreeable. “Yeah… what kind?” The ladies walked by another house. Annie did not like this. It seemed like Adrianna more interested in criticizing others than in trick-ortreating. Annie adjusted the headband to her costume. Adrianna was not wearing a costume.
