The Great Kindness Challenge for 2021 is this week in January and we are going to participate in it.

The teachers will pass out checklists that give you ideas of kind acts. Each student tries to do as many as they can during that week.

You might think of other kind acts you want to do.

You can do kind acts by yourself, with your friends or even with your whole class.

There are several ways you can keep track of kind acts. You can download the kindness app.
Look up in the app store: Great Kindness Challenge

Another way your class can track kind acts in by making a chain.
Add a link to the chain every time you do a kind act.

Check the ideas that you might want to do for the challenge. You may check as many as you want.
Pick up trash around the school.
Make a poster to show what kindness means to you.
Read a book about kindness to younger students
Smile or say hi to people in the hallway or cafeteria
Talk to a student or teacher you don't know

Here are some other ideas of kind acts you can do. Check the ideas you might want to do for the challenge. Pick as many as you want
Make cards or draw a picture for people living in nursing homes or quarantined at home.
Collect blankets and food for animals in animal shelters.
Write letters to soldiers in the military
Write a note or card to your parent telling them ways that you appreciate them.
