Adverbs of Negation

The word that is used to form the negative verb is known as an adverb of negation.

Examples:

• a. Vimal could not sit for the examination as he was ill.

• b. John is not feeling well and wants to go home.

• c. I shall not probably come tomorrow.

• d. She shall never pass.

• e. I will never taste that.

• f. I own him nothing.
