Stages of OHSAS certification

ISO 45001

  • The earlier existing OHSAS 18001 has been now replaced by ISO 45001 as the new international standard for occupational health and safety management.

  • Those organizations who are already certified with OHSAS 18001 will need to migrate to ISO 45001 by the end of March 2021.

  • Much of the basic principles of OHSAS 18001 have been retained in ISO 45001.
