A subject pronoun replaces the subject of a sentence. This is done so that the subject doesn't keep being repeated.

Subjects and subject pronouns cannot stand alone and form a sentence. Would you ever say ¨Andrés nice boy¨? (Don´t even say you would say this.)
Subjects must have a verb. For your first verb, you have been working with ESTAR.

For example ¨yo¨ can only go with ¨estoy¨. Yo estoy....
You cannot write ¨Yo están...¨ They are not even in the same row.

Don´t forget that the adjectives must agree with the gender of the person and the number.

If the subject is masculine then the adjective must be masculine.
In general, masculine adjectives end in -o
If a subject is masculine, the adjective can be either masculine or feminine. It doesn´t matter.

In general, feminine adjectives end in an -a.
