What's the difference?

Regular Verbs

• follow the same pattern to form the PAST TENSE

• Add -ed or -d to the end of the verb

• I painted our kitchen red

Irregular past-tense verbs

• Do not end with -ed

• He drew a portrait of me

• NOT = He drawed a portrait of me

Irregular past-tense verbs

the irregular verbs be and have have irregular spellings for the present and past tenses.
