Dog Man is a comedic graphic novel series by American cartoonist Dav Pilkey published by Scholastic Corporation that focuses on a part-dog, part-man police officer/superhero. The book series includes nine books, the first released in 2016 and the latest in 2020. The latest book released in September 2020.

Petey is an anthropomorphic ginger cat with black stripes from his shoulders to his tail. As of the book Dog Man: A Tale of Two Kitties, his right cheek only has two whiskers compared to the three whiskers on his left.

Flat Petey

Flat Petey is the evil paper clone of Petey and appears as one of the two main antagonists of Dog Man: Unleashed (alongside Flippy), before ultimately emerging as the true villain of the book

Sarah Hatoff

Sarah Hatoff (aka Purse Lady) is an Australian news reporter in all nine current Dog Man books. She is considered the world's greatest reporter. She is Zuzu's owner as of Dog Man Unleashed,the poodle who Dog Man liked in that book. Sarah is a current supporting character in the series.
