• The equation is in the form  $ax+by+c=0$ 

• For this line we can see that:

•  $a=2$  

•  $b=3$  

• The slope is  $-\frac{2}{3}$  

Here is the line 

 $x+5y+4=0$  

• The equation is in the form  $ax+by+c=0$ 

• For this line we can see that:

•  $a=1$  

•  $b=5$  

• Find the slope of this line

• Slope =  $-\frac{1}{5}$
