Remember decimals and fractions? thats what a rational number is. a rational number is a mixed number. it has to be under 1 whole or 1 or have a decimal/fraction to make it a rational number. A rational number is 0.06, 0.7, 1/2, 5/10, etc. A rational number is also 5 1/4, 3.7, etc. an irrational is the opposite.
