Step 1: Read the book, story, poem etc.
Step 2: Brainstorm possible examples and evidence to develop an answer to the question.
Step 3: Select evidence that you will use in your response.
Step 4: Outline each sentence of your response - use guiding questions to make sure you have all the information.
Step 5: Write your response using complete sentences, your best grammar, spelling, and capitalization.

Example of Thematic Analysis and Concluding Sentence: Explain how stereotyping effected the character by restating key points.
As a result of viewing her in this stereotypical manner, Two-Bit is preventing them from truly getting to know one another and damaging any future possibility of a trusting relationship. From this example one can conclude that viewing someone as a stereotype and not a person inhibits any true understanding of the other person and will never lead to a better understanding or a real, caring relationship with them.
