  • Comma Splices are TWO independent clauses combined with ONLY a comma.

  • Correct the Comma Splice by -

  • Adding a Coordinating Conjunction (FANBOYS)

  • Changing the comma to a semi-colon.

  • Making the sentence into TWO separate sentences

  • Making ONE of the independent clauses a dependent clause
