Spring!

Spring is the season of new life. It is the season when nature wakes up from winter. In the Northern Hemisphere, the first day of Spring is the 1st of March.

The weather gets warmer and the snow melts. The grass, flowers, and other plants begin to grow again. The trees have new, green leaves.

3

Birds sing and chirp, and animals are looking for food, often with their newborns close behind. Spring is also a wetter season, with rain showers. Sometimes there are thunderstorms, with loud thunder and bright lightning, which can be scary.

Spring is a fun season to play outside, splash in puddles and smell all the blossoming flowers.
