8th March: International Women's Day.
Throughout the past 100 years women's empowerment has been gradually strenghtened them. The stereotypical perception of women has slowly begun to change and the birth of strong female role models has helped speed up this process over the last decades.

1910: The Beginning.
The first important milestone. Women from over 17 countries decided at the 2nd International Socialist Women's Conference in Copenhagen to vote for an International Women's Day to promote their rights everywhere in the world. This event has since been regarded every year on the 8th of March as International Women's Day.
