Math- progress monitoring 

• Teachers can give a short pretest and post test to collect data 

• Teacher collects data during guided math, workstations, math task or independent work. By collecting data teachers are writing anecdotal notes of the students' thoughts process and misconceptions to clarify.

Ways to use discussion posts

• For every discussion post, try to have sentence stems for the students or even checklists.

• Peer Feedback- The students are able to respond to each other. Which allows student to student communication and collaboration to demonstrate ownership of learning.

• Teacher to student feedback- The students are able to respond to the students response (this is for any assignment on Schoology).
