Expressing Likes & Dislikes

• Use 好き or 嫌い after stating the thing that is liked or disliked and adding particle が

• [noun] が　好き・嫌い　です。

• like/dislike a [noun].

• 嫌い is a lot more forceful. We might say "not like" unless we are really trying to drive a point home, which is typically culturally inappropriate
