Uses of POR-

*to express an approximate location or movement through, along or around something

example- Caminaba por la playa. OR Pasaba por McAlester.

*to express an exchange , substitution or a purchase

example- Compro el libro por Juan. OR Trabajē por Juana. OR Ella da veinte pesos por esa gorra.

*to express an approximate or indefinite time frame

example- Salgo por la noche. OR Mirē la tele por la noche.

*to express the cause, motive, or reason for an action-
