What are grammar rules?
Grammar rules refer to sentence structure and parts of speech; including nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, prepositions and conjunctions.
3

When an ‘I’ is on its own, capitalise it.
For example: Today, I am going out shopping with my friends.
4
Grammar rule two:
When contracting a word, add the apostrophe between where the two words meet.
For example: You are, becomes you’re.
I am, becomes I’m.
We are, becomes we’re.
5
Grammar rule three:
Adjectives come before the noun, always.
For example: The big, black cat runs away.
6
Grammar rule four:
If the next word you’re going to say starts with a vowel, and you’re using ‘a’, turn the ‘a’ into ‘an’.
