• We express what we like by using the phrase "me gusta" (I like..)

• You may not have realized... but we can put TWO things after "gusta": an infinitive OR a singular noun

• Por ejemplo: "Me gusta cantar." (I like TO SING.)

• OR por ejemplo: "Me gusta jugo de manzana." (I like apple juice.)

How do we express what OTHERS like?

• By looking at the chart, we see that the word "me" changes if we are talking about other people

• If we want to say that YOU like something we say "Te gusta"

• He or She likes = Le gusta

• We like = Nos gusta

• You all like (vosotros) = Os gusta

• They/You all like = Les gusta

• We call these little words (that express people in gustar phrases) INDIRECT OBJECT PRONOUNS

• They allow us to know WHO is doing the LIKING
