There, Their and They're
Which is which? Which one do you use?

There
There - refers to a certain place or specific instance
The Trick: There Notice the word here is in the word there. Both words show a certain place/location.
Examples:
There are a lot of good reasons to read every day.
Are there any pickles over there on the picnic table?

Their
Their - (possessive pronoun) shows that something belongs to multiple people
The Trick: Their An heir is a person who receives ownership of possessions (things/money that used to belong to someone else).
Examples:
What are their names?
Their mother wanted the children to eat their peas.

They’re - contraction for they are.
The Trick: They're = They are - Notice the apostrophe which shows a contraction (putting two words together into one word).
Examples:
If the boys eat cake, they’re not going to be hungry for dinner.
They’re going to go to the shelter today and adopt a new dog.
