School Sports Day

Last Saturday, SK 91 Divoc had its annual sports day. Before Saturday, everyone in school was busy preparing for the big day. Some pupils helped their teachers to hang the flags and banners at the tents. They also decorated the tents with colourful balloons. The teachers also arranged the seats for the guests and the prizes on the special table under the big tent.

On the big day, the event started with a march past. The teams held the flags and marched proudly in front of the guest of honour. The mascot caught everyone’s attention. The events were 100 metres, 200 metres, 4x100m and 4x200m relay race. There were also high jumps and long jumps on that day. Vinc took part in the 100 metres race and high jumps. Vinc ran as fast as lightning and he finally won the race. The supporters cheered and clapped loudly as he speed his way to the finishing line.​

The most awaited moment for the day was the prize giving ceremony. The guest of honour was invited to give away the medals to the winners. The winning teams were happy and proud of their victory. It was a tired but enjoyable day.
