These release hormones to deal with stress

Sympathetic nervous system causes direct release of hormone from gland

Stress causes adrenals to secrete adrenaline

Adrenaline is also called epinephrine

An adrenaline rush begins in the brain

Adrenaline is produced in the medulla in the adrenal glands

Hypothalamus transmits a signal through autonomic nerves to the adrenal medulla
