Chapter 4 Summary
•Walking through the empty park, Ponyboy and Johnny hear a car horn and see some Socs approaching them in the park.
•Randy and Bob, along with some other Socs, trap Ponyboy and Johnny at the fountain.
•One of the Socs forces Ponyboy into the fountain and holds him underwater until he passes out.
•Johnny stabs Bob and kills him.
•Johnny and Ponyboy go to Buck Merrill's house to get help from Dally, who gives them money and a gun and sends them to Windrixville to hide out in an old church.
