Perimeter of Polygons (straight line shapes)

  • Polygons are shapes that have edges made up of straight lines (i.e. no curves/round edges), for example, squares, rectangles, triangles, pentagons, etc

  • To find the Perimeter we simply add up the lengths of all the sides

  • Remember: a square has sides all the same length
