Also known as Second Conditional

Present unreal and future unreal conditional
The second conditional describes situations which are Impossible, Untrue or imaginary.

Examples:
If I were an animal, I would be a Red Panda.
If people saw real dinosaurs, they would not believe it
If I had free time, I would watch my favorite series more often

Grammar rules
1- Use the simple past tense in the if clause

Examples:
If I had a million dollars
If she were the president
If he came in earlier

Use were for all the personal pronouns:
I were

use Would+verb (base form) for the result clause

If Sussy arrived earlier, she would be on time for the movie

Don't use a comma if the result clause is first
