Subject + verb-to-be + verb-ing


Example:

Ali is sleeping.

PRESENT CONTINUOUS TENSE POSITIVE

means that the sentence is a "yes" or "agree" or "correct".

means that the sentence is a "no" or "disagree" or "incorrect".

We put "not" after the verb-to-be (am/is/are)

It can also be simplified or short-formed like these:
