PRESENT CONTINUOUS TENSE

SENTENCE = SUBJECT + VERB-TO-BE + VERB-ING.

EXAMPLE: Ali is sleeping.


QUESTION = VERB-TO-BE + SUBJECT + VERB-ING?

We are going to learn about how to answer a present continuous tense question.

RULES

1) Start with "Yes" or "No".

2) Put comma (,).

3) Follow with subject.

4) Ends with verb-to-be.

FORMULA

(Yes / No) , subject + verb-to-be.


Example:


Yes, I am. / No, I'm not.


Yes, he is. / No, he isn't.


Yes, we are. / No, we aren't.
