As you know, each sentence must have a subject, verb, complete thought.
Its the same in Spanish, except for one rule:
If you have two verbs next to each other, you conjugate the first one and leave the second alone.
15
Writing with verbs
Subject + Verb + Complete thought
Example: I want to go to your house.
to want: querer
to go: ir
Yo quiero ir a tu casa.
16
Writing with verbs
Yo quiero ir a tu casa.
I conjugated the verb "querer" to "quiero" and then you leave the second verb, "ir", alone.
