Sentence structure in English

 Unlike Hebrew and Arabic, which have many different sentence structures, you can construct any sentence in English following one simple format and using the different parts of speech

SVC: Subject + Verb + Complement

Subject

• Is what does the action

• What changes in the sentence

• A noun or pronoun

• Every sentence must have a subject

Verb

• The action or state of being

• Relates to the Subject

• Every sentence must have a verb

Complement

• Adds information on the subject or verb

• Comes after the verb

• Some sentences have a complement, and some don't

• Can be with nouns. adjectives. prepositions or adverbs

How to write a sentence

• Start with a capital letter

• Write a subject

• Write a verb

• Finish the sentence according to the information you have

• Put a punctuation mark at the end.
