paragraph formatting.

We'll learn how to insert text breaks and

changing text into paragraphs & headings.

Text Break

• br

The tag used for inserting text break.

It serves like pressing Enter on MS Words.

It's an empty tag, so it doesn't need to be closed.

Because it just inserts a text break.

Without <br> tag, the text break wasn't detected.

With a <br> tag, the text break was inserted.

With two <br> tags, two text breaks were inserted.

Paragraphs

The tag used for changing text into a paragraph.

Each opening & closing = one paragraph.

They will automatically separate themselves,

no need to insert additional text break.

Before <p> tags, they're not regarded as separate paragraphs.

After <p> tags, they're now separate paragraphs.

Headings

The tag used for changing a text into

a huge-sized heading. The text will be bold also.

They will automatically separate themselves,
