In today's lesson, you're going to work on your listening and reading skills.

First, watch the video below, following along with the written story, paying special attention to words that you can understand and how they are said. Also, pay attention to the pictures, to get the gist of what the story is about.

3

I recommend opening the video in a separate window (keep this window open!). In the upper right corner of the video it says "copy link"... then you can paste it into a new window.

You'll need to switch back-and-forth between the two, so if you know how to split your screen, I recommend that as it will make things much easier for you.

4

Now that you have both Quizizz and the video open in separate windows, go back to the beginning of the video and work through each page of the story one page at a time, pausing and answering each set of questions about that page.

HINT: ¡Colorín colorado, este cuento se ha acabado! = The end (this story has finished)

Now that you understand the story, I recommend listening to it again.

Listening to children's stories in Spanish is a great way to increase your vocabulary, and refine your listening and reading skills. If you click on the Youtube channel of the reader of the story (bilingual lingua) you'll find lots of stories read aloud.
