​FEAR

We define fear as an emotional response to a real or perceived threat and people experience a mild to moderate anxiety.

PHOBIA

We define phobia as a feeling of strong anxiety that can interfere with their quality of life or their ability to function.

​Participial Adjectives are verbs to which we add -ed or -ing to describe feelings.

To be more specific...

​-ed Adjectives

We use adjectives ending with -ed to describe the way we feel about something.

​-ing Adjectives

We use adjectives ending with -ing to describe the feeling something or someone gives us.

​

​Example.

​This movie is boring.
