A close look at Analyzing Tone
When we analyze Tone, we must pay special attention to the words an author uses, this is called WORD CHOICE.
Denotation & Connotation matter - choosing a word with a more negative connotation will lead to a negative tone and words with a positive connotation, a positive tone.
