Giving Opinions about TV

AHMAD DADANG PRAMUSINTA, S.Pd.,M.Pd.

Dear readers,

We know that it is important to have a healthy mind. In my opinion, one way to keep our mind  healthy is giving up watching TV. I think TV channels give us good programmes and the rest of them just broadcast rubbish commercial programmes. Because there are too many channels on TV, it is really difficult for us to really get excited by TV. For all 24 hours every day, we have endless channels. Consequently, the quality of the programmes has suffered.

So what should we do in our leisure time? I strongly believe that meeting people is more exciting. Interaction with our friends and family will lead us to a healthier mind. We will learn a lot when interacting with people. When we want to be alone, reading books is healthier than watching TV.

I want to know your attitude toward watching TV. Do you love it or hate it? Do you think my opinions is correct or wrong? Please send me a letter.

Regards,

Andhita Wardoyo

Dear Editors,

watching TV is one of my favorite activities at home. I think that there are many interesting things that can be found on TV. I prefer watching news and humorous shows. Live sports on TV are always attractive as well. My family loves football very much. A live football match on TV is most special in my family. We will all sit around in front of the TV. Just like last week, when we watched the final libertadores match between Flamingo and Sao Paolo. It was a spectacular match.

However, i feel that the major problem with TV is the enormous number of awful silly shows, advertisements, and cheap soap operas. So, as a smart audience, you had better choose the right programmes and ignore unnecessary programmes.

Regrads,

Scott Allan
