​Kalimat yang digunakan untuk menyatakan keinginan, pengandaian, harapan, mauoun rencana yang mungkin atau tidak mungkin dapat terwujud

​Type of Conditional Sentences

​Type 0

​it is use to explain about something true/fact

​it is not a conditional

​type 0 is a fact

​

​example: If we heat the water, it boils

​If it is rain, it is wet

​If I eat a lot, I gain weight

​The Pattern of Type 0

​IF + (S + V + O), S + V + O

​Type 1

​is a possible situation in the present/future jadi Conditional type 1 menyatakan suatu kemungkinan di masa sekarang/masa yang akan datang.

​Example:

​If it rains, I will not come to your house

​Kalimat pengandaian yang mungkin bisa terjadi dan kemungkinannya besar

​If I study hard, I will pass the exam.

​Type 2

​Unreal/impossible situation in present/future (tidak real)

​If I won the competition, I would buy a new bag.

​(tetapi kenyataannya dia tidak menang lomba maka dia tidak beli tas baru)

​I don't win the competition.

​Type 3

​something didn't happen (Suatu yang tidak terjadi di masa lalu )

​If I had studied hard, I would have passed the exam

​ fact: I didn't satudy hard and I didn't pass the exam
