Question: Why do you think a film like this is important right now when people are talking about diversity in Hollywood?
Chadwick: Anytime is a great time for a Black Panther movie. It would have been great if they could have done it 10 years ago. I think it’s great now because we have this cast, and we have Marvel. This is the 18th movie in the MCU and they’re willing to put this kind of resources in a movie like this, so we can do it and feel proud that no corners were cut. And it’s important that we get to see very strong women in this film. Wonder Woman did a great job in spearheading this conversation in superhero movies. With this film and these women, it extends and expands the conversation, because these are all different types of women.
