Look at the differences

​We use simple present tense in these three situations

​Action happen regularly.

Example: She goes to the gym every Saturday.

General truth

Example: The sun sets in the west.

Thoughts, feelings, and opinion.

Basic forms of present tense:

PRESENT CONTINUOUS TENSE

Present Continuous Tense

​In the Present Continuous tense, the action is on-going/still going and hence continuous. The present continuous is used to talked about actions that are happening at this current moment (sedang terjadi saat ini).
