1. VOCABULARY

-         Free (a)            /friː/             : rảnh rỗi

-         See a movie (v)                   : đi xem phim

-         Sure (a)            /ʃʊə(r)/         : chắc chắn

-         Start  #  finish = begin # end : bắt đầu # kết thúc

-         Great (a)          /ɡreɪt/          : tốt, thật tuyệt

-         Late (adj/adv)  /leɪt/            : trễ, muộn

2. GRAMMAR

The simple future tense with “will” (Thì tương lai đơn với “will”):

*Form:

(+) S + will + V(bare infinitive)

(-) S + will + not + V(bare infinitive)

(?) (Wh.) Will + S + V(bare infinitive)?

(Yes/No) Will + S + V(bare infinitive)?

                 – Yes, S + will.

                 – No, S + won’t.

Note: Will not = won’t

(will = ’ll)

Ex:

1. Phong and Tam will meet tomorrow.

2. Kien won’t come here next week.

3. Where will we meet?

4. Will you be free tomorrow evening?

- Yes, I will.

- No, I won’t.

Thì tương lai đơn diễn đạt một hành động sẽ xảy ra tại một thời điểm nào đó trong tương lai, hoặc một dự định, kế hoạch của ai đó.

Ex: I will go to the zoo tomorrow

Thì tương lai dùng để diễn tả một lời đề nghị, một yêu cầu hoặc một lời mời.

 

Ex: Will you go to see a movie with me?

Dấu hiệu nhận biết của thì tương lai đơn

Trong câu có các trạng từ chỉ thời gian trong tương lai như: tomorrow, next day/week/month/year/…, in +thời gian(in 2 minutes, in 3 days …)
