Light is something that enables us to see. The things around us. We cannot see anything if there
is not light. Objects that give out light are called luminous objects. Objects that do not give out light are called non-luminous objects

Luminous objects are also called sources of light.
Sources of light can be natural or artificial. {man-made}
Examples of natural sources of light are the sun and others stars
and insects like firefly.

Matireals that allow light to pass through significant scattering or
absorptation are called transparent materials. We are able to see throughthese materials very cleerly.
Eg: clear air, clear glass, cleen water, some kinds of plastic and cellophane paper.

Usully light travels in a stright line.
When we want to repreasent the propagtion of light with a diagram,
we repreasent it with the help of rays and beams.
