​Reinforcement

​Reinforcement will cause the learner to continue and repeat a certain response. The response will increase.

  • It is positive reinforcement if it is because the learner got something desirable or wanted from that behavior, such as praise, attention, a good grade, ​etc.

  • ​It is negative reinforcement if it is because the learner is trying to avoid or remove something undesirable or not wanted, such as a scolding, worry, or a bad grade, etc.
