Step #1:
Chose the base color of the flower pot craft - we chose a nice, bright yellow. Paint the entire container with the chosen paint. Set it aside to dry completely.

Cut out a variety of different flowers - in all kinds of shapes and sizes. If you are not able to cut freehand like we did, just draw a bunch on the construction paper with a pencil and cut them out.

I decided to make an adorable flower pot to recycle empty containers. I will use a hot chocolate container to create these flower pots. I will use an empty container, paint, construction paper. pom poms, glue, paintbrush, and scissors. To make this pot, first, I will choose the base color of the flower pot craft. Paint the entire container with the chosen paint and set it aside to dry completely. Second, I will cut out a variety of different flowers - in all kinds of shapes and sizes. Third, I will place a dot of glue into the center of each flower and glue a pom-pom in place. Fourth,
I will bend the leaves of one of your flowers around the pom-poms and hold it in place for a few seconds. And lastly, I will glue all the flowers onto the flower pot. Now, I'm ready to grab some soil and and fill up with my mom's favorite plant!
