When deciding on what plural form to use for words with foreign roots, the rule is to use the plural form used in the country or place you are in. This means that if you are in an English-speaking country or learning English, then it is best to use the English form. However, if you are in the country where the foreign root word is used, then you should use what the native speakers of that country use.
