​Commonly used shortcut keys in Microsoft Apps

​

​Select All

​ctrl+A

​It highlights all the content of the page.

Bold

​ctrl+B

​It thickens the format of the selected/highlighted word.

Copy

​ctrl+C

It copies the selected/highlighted text.

Font Preference

​ctrl+D

It opens the font preferences window

Center Alignment

​ctrl+E

Aligns the line or selected text to the center of the screen

Find

​ctrl+F

Opens "Find" box

Italic

​ctrl+i

Italicize highlighted text/selection.

Justify

​ctrl+j

Aligns the selected text or line to justify. Both sides has straight margins.

Hyperlink

​ctrl+k

It inserts a link. e.g. http://www.Facebook.com

Left Alignment

​ctrl+L

Aligns the selected text/content to the left.

Right Alignment

​ctrl+R

Aligns the selected text/content to the right.

Open File

​ctrl+O

Opens the dialog box or page for selecting a file to open

Print window

​ctrl+P

Opens the print window.

Paste

​ctrl+V

It pastes copied text/content

Save

​ctrl+S

Saves the file or document.
