Why would having their beards forcibly shaved upset the Jewish community?

​Orthodox Interpretation

• ​Mustn't remove allow a razor to touch their skin, so they use an electric razor instead because it allows a close shave without the razor touching the skin.

• ​There are no rules against using scissors, so some may trim their beards with scissors.
